The Question and the Key

introspection self-discovery pain clarity breaking-free inner-struggle enlightenment transformation
In the stillness of the night, he sits alone,
Beneath the weight of burdens, all his own.
Echoes of her words, haunting his mind,
Reasons of his torment, he's forced to find.
"Who is the real problem?" she dared to ask,
Unraveling his thoughts, an arduous task.
In introspection's depths, he starts to see,
The root of his pains, the source, it's he.
He wonders if he's cursed, doomed to this fate,
To love too much, to meet with nothing but hate.
But in this moment, clarity descends,
The journey of his soul, it's time amends.
He is both the question and himself is the key,
To break the chains, to set his spirit free.
To end the cycle, break the endless chain,
And rise above the agony and the endless pain.
He must yield to the darkness' silent might,
To break free from the chains of his endless night.
He must ascend his soul from this Illusion's veil,
To find true peace beyond the world's false tale.
